Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (35)
Have finally been able to take a week off to do some of those things around the house that needed doing, have a little time to myself, think seriously about the future, get my brain in gear, and maybe even do some writing. This is very cool. What happens next? I don't really know. Great, isn't it?

Nearly there

Coming to the end of a course, my last assignment under way and the end very much in sight. Creative ideas buzzing round my head, which is always a good thing. With the coursework out of the way, maybe I'll be able to do something with this inspiration.

Three

0 min read
Eldest son just turned three. Successfully hosted our first children's party - no major injury or damage (except for clumsy Daddy, who gave himself an apple juice sheen). Number One Son's friends turn out to be the most delightful, polite, beautifully-behaved toddlers. Number Two is now five months and a bit, and barrel-chested with legs like tree-trunks. He sleeps 12 hours a night because he's eaten like a mediaeval courtier, and frankly needs to sleep off the gluttony.

Thank you for another :+fav:, big brother! I hope you and yours are all doing well.
Most welcome! That's some inspiring Jack o'Lantern s**t you got going on there. Gonna have to show the boys and see what they can achieve!
We're fine, thanks. Busy with all the kids' various activities. Edmund now wants to join Beavers, which his best friend goes to, starting next week, so that's another bit of parental taxiing we'll have to squeeze in...
How are you? Settling in a bit now? Thinking of you. You can always come and visit here for a change of scene!
Love to all.
Cheerio,

:giggle: Thanks, Nick! Sadly, the pumpkin only lasted a day. It shriveled up pretty quickly... Oh well! C'est la vie!
Will you post pics of whatever you guys end up carving? I'd love to see.
Beavers, eh? Well, I hope he enjoys it! Maybe you could set up a deal with the other parents to switch back and forth for the taxiing part? That'd be pretty sweet.
As for me, I wouldn't say I'm settling in, no... Living in a motel is not much fun. I never knew how important an oven and a blender were to me! Now I'll never take them for granted again.
And thank you for the invite! If planes weren't involved then I'd probably jump at the offer!! It's been too long since I've been to England to see you and the rest of the fam. 13 years! Wow...time flies...
Anyway, I should probably end this long response now. All the best to you, Mandi, and the boys! :pumpkin:
Thank you for the :+fav:, Nick! :thanks:
